Marazion to Hayle and St Ives

Ride Description:

A ’Coast-to-Coast’ ride which takes in a rich variety of Cornish scenery. It crosses the narrowest point of Penwith from Marazion, with its famous castle on St. Michael's Mount, to the Atlantic beaches of St. Ives, returning by quiet lanes across moors and through fertile wooded valleys. There is a short, but steep, climb out of Marazion, and a long, steep pull out of St.Ives to Towendnack. The reward, apart from the scenery, is a long down»hill run on the return journey. Refreshment facilities are available at Marazion, St. Ives, Hayle, St. Erth, Lelant and Carbis Bay.
